Later this fort is controlled by Sardar Angre and then Peshwas. You can take a ride in Washishthi creek in Ferry boat which is just 15 kms away from Guhagar and 3 kms from Anjanwel and Gopalgad. Guhagar
is a perfect weekend destination for goers from Pune & Mumbai.
